Scorpio Oil Transport was established in 1993, whit main activity – transportation of fuels.
The company started with one rigid road tanker.
1994- concluded long term contract with Shell Bulgaria for fuel transport
1996- the company operated 6 Shell branded road tankers
1997- concluded new 5 years contract with Shell Bulgaria
2000- adopted and implemented HSE standards, according to ЕU requirements
2001- Scorpio Oil Transport implemented proactive HSSE system – road map, PI reporting, and established Drivers League System in its Operation
2002- extended the validity of its previous contract with Shell Bulgaria for another 5 years and replaced its old fleet with new Scania trucks
2003-Scorpio Oil Transport has been audited by Shell Bulgaria, according to new SHARP (Shell Haulier Appraisal & Rating Process), and the company has been appraised as Shell Golden Contractor
2004-Scorpio Oil Transport started to build up new fleet with ESP and road stability program
-started partnership with OMV Bulgaria
-the company has been appraised as Shell Golden Contractor again
2005- increased number of road tankers working for OMV Bulgaria
-expanded its development through co-operation with other petrol companies
2006- started partnership with Lukoil Bulgaria, and conclude 3 years contract
- Scorpio Oil Transport has been awarded in the OMV Bulgaria tender for fuel distribution in South Bulgaria
2007-contract with Eko Bulgaria for fuel transport
-contract with Opet for fuel transport
2009- Scorpio Oil Transport operated with 23 tank trucks with GPS system
2010 – January we renew the contract with Eko Bulgaria EAD
- We purchased the firs in Bulgaria Scania G 480 Highline Euro 5 without Adblue and automatic without clutch pedal
- We register a company in Romania and send the first truck and trailer there – Volvo with Schwarzmuller tank trailer
- Scorpio Oil Transport operates with 7 Dipsticks – as only company in Bulgaria, 4 rigid tank trailers and 14 semi trailers with pump and counter.
2011 - Scorpio Oil Transport has been awarded in the Rompetrol Bulgaria tender for fuel distribution as only Transport Company in Bulgaria
- We get a transport license in Romania and started the operation there. We increased the number of trucks in Romania
In Bulgaria and Romania for the group of companies in Bulgaria and Romania works over 100 people and 40 units tank trailers.
